Information You Provide

If newsletter signup is enabled and you subscribe, TechPulse stores the email address you submit, the signup source, subscription status, and related timestamps. If you create a game price alert, we also store the selected game, region, currency, alert rule, confirmation status, and delivery timestamps. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message.

Technical and Usage Data

Our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, approximate location, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. TechPulse may also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate traffic and improve usability when those services are enabled.

Advertising and Cookies

TechPulse keeps Google AdSense code available for site review and may use third-party advertising services on eligible editorial pages. Advertising is not shown on game-alert submission, confirmation, or account-management pages. Third-party vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure advertising.

If Monetag Vignette advertising is enabled, it is limited to the homepage and editorial articles. Monetag and its advertising partners may process device, browser, IP-address, cookie, and interaction data to deliver and measure that advertising. TechPulse does not use Monetag push notifications, pop-under ads, direct-link redirects, or MultiTag advertising.

TechPulse uses the Trackonomics publisher tag on eligible public pages to measure affiliate-link impressions and, where a connected approved programme supports it, recognize eligible retailer links. Trackonomics may process device, browser, IP-address, cookie, referrer, page, and interaction data for attribution and reporting. It does not run on game-alert confirmation, alert-management, newsletter, or noindex routes.

Consent Choices

Where required, an advertising consent message may ask visitors to manage cookie and personalized-ad choices. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, although some site or advertising features may then work differently.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate and secure TechPulse, deliver requested newsletter updates and transactional game price alerts, understand site performance, prevent abuse, and improve content and user experience. We do not sell submitted email addresses or add a price-alert address to marketing email without separate consent.

Data Retention and Requests

We retain submitted information only while it is needed for the purpose collected, operational records, security, or legal obligations. Price-alert emails include a management link for that alert. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or newsletter unsubscription by contacting us. Some limited records may be retained where required for security or legal compliance.

External Links and Children

External websites have their own privacy practices. TechPulse is a general-audience publication and is not intentionally directed to children under 13.
